“Palestinian children are starving to death as the direct result of the deliberate acts and omissions of Israel,” South Africa said in its statement to the court.
Nicaragua asked the ICJ, also known as the World Court, to issue emergency measures requiring Berlin to stop its military aid to Israel.
"South Africa condemns the massacre of 112 Palestinians and the injury of hundreds more as they sought life-saving aid," South Africa's Department of International Relations and Cooperation said.
The official did not provide details on the content of the report, which was filed hours before the deadline for its submission.
Peace will only be possible when the Palestinian Authority eliminates its pay-for-slay law and when Palestinian schoolchildren will be taught to acknowledge and respect the citizens of Israel.
"The unfolding situation after October 7 proves once again that, without addressing the root cause of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, there can be no peace in the region," he said.
Though only an interim report, this will be even more comprehensive than the ICJ report coming out this week.
China has become increasingly aligned with the Palestinian cause in the last couple of years.
